My new friend Tommy T took these shots on our run on the White River in Vermont May 1. Thanks to Marshall Moore for organizing our day trip on this wonderful stream, it was more than worth a day's drive there and back to meet old friends and make new ones too.

Approaching the drop

I slip into a hole behind a rock, and my boat tosses me out.

Then it decides to go on without me.

Why I wear a float vest. Actually, the water wasn't freezing, but not bathtub warm either. Oh yes, as you can see, I held onto my paddle!

I just want to show with these two images that I can keep the right side up! Thanks, Marshall Moore.
